Regulatory affairs · Crop protection products

There’s a phrase you hear a lot once you’ve got a registration filed in Mexico: “it’s going well.” This consultancy is for the people who stopped believing it.

Anemlex registers, amends and keeps crop protection products alive in Mexico. And tells you, every week, exactly where yours stands.

Look.

If you sell, or want to sell, a pesticide or any crop protection product in Mexico, this page is for you. If not, close it. No hard feelings.

Moving on.

Not long ago I heard the manager of a foreign company describe how his Mexican registration was going. It went more or less like this:

—We filed the dossier in March.

—And?

—They said it was going well.

—And?

—In July I asked again. They said it was going well.

—And where is it?

—That’s what I asked.

Silence.

Sounds like you’ve already paid once for an “it’s going well.”

That silence is how a lot of people in this business make a living. Get paid up front, file the dossier, then disappear behind one sentence: “it depends on the authority.”

It depends on the authority. Sure. It also depends on whether someone reviewed the dossier before filing it, whether the label says the same thing the dossier says, and whether the deficiency notice sat unopened in an inbox for nine business days. It depends on that too.

And while it “depends,” you keep paying for the warehouse, the container that can’t clear customs, and the meeting with your board where you say, once again, that it’s going well.

Here’s what Anemlex does, in one line:

We register and keep crop protection products alive in Mexico before COFEPRIS, SENASICA/SADER and SEMARNAT, and every week we tell you the file number, the department and the step your case is on.

That’s it. That’s the job.

How we work

Three commitments.

01

A date in writing.

Before filing, we review your full dossier and tell you what’s missing, what can be defended and what can’t. With a filing date in writing.

02

An email every Friday, even when nothing happened.

If nothing happened, we write to say nothing happened. It sounds dull. Almost nobody does it.

03

One person responsible.

One person with a name, the same one from start to finish, who opens the official letter the day it arrives.

Who this is not for

Don’t write to us if you’re looking for the cheapest option. There are plenty, and several of them will tell you it’s going well.

We are something else: the best cost-benefit on the market. Not the lowest price; the price that gives the most back. A dossier reviewed before filing, an official letter opened the day it arrives and an email every Friday cost less than a registration that “is going well” for two years. Do the math. We already did.

Don’t write to us if you want a dossier filed without review “because the lab already checked it.” We see it every day here: the lab checked its own study, not the whole dossier.

And don’t write to us if it bothers you to hear that your product won’t get through. We’d rather say it before we charge you than after.

If none of that bothers you, keep going.

Send us the list of your products. We’ll tell you which ones get in, and which way.

P.S.: The form has four fields. It takes less time than asking “where is it?” one more time.
