Someone has to hold your Mexican registration while you don’t have a company here. It’s better if that someone isn’t also the one selling to you.

Look.
Why would you take the registration away from a distributor who sells well for you today?
This happens more than anyone admits.
A foreign company wants to sell in Mexico. It has no entity here. Its distributor says: “don’t worry, I’ll register it in my name and we’re set.”
And they’re set.
Three years later the relationship cools, the distributor raises prices, or simply decides to sell another brand. And the registration, the piece of paper that lets that product be sold in this country, is still in his name. And in this country, whoever holds the paper holds the market.
Sounds like the risk isn’t today’s distributor, but the one three years from now.
You can start over. Another two or three years. Another dossier. Another budget. Meanwhile, your former distributor sells your product under his registration.
And it’s not illegal. It happens every day, which is worse.
Anemlex acts as the holder of your Mexican registrations while you set up your own entity here, or while you decide whether to.
We’re the holder on paper; you’re the real owner of the product and the market. With a contract that says exactly that, and a clean exit the day you open your own entity or change partners.
What’s included
- 01Registrations held in Anemlex’s name, under a contract that recognizes your ownership of the product and the business.
- 02Receipt and handling of every official letter on those registrations. The day it arrives.
- 03A calendar of expirations and renewals before they become emergencies.
- 04A monthly status report on every registration. Even when nothing changed.
- 05Assignment of the registrations to whichever entity you name, whenever you say. The assignment is a filing with COFEPRIS, and it’s written into the contract from day one.
What’s not included
We keep the paper, and the import permit if you need one. Importing, selling, your product and your customer stay with you. And the paper was exactly what you were missing.
Price
By quote.
It depends on how many registrations there are and what needs doing with them.
Write to us with the number of registrations and you get one fixed figure, in writing, that doesn’t change in month three. One more thing: it is the best cost-benefit you will find for keeping the paper safe. What it costs per month is less than a single container held at customs.
Who this isn’t for
If your distributor is your lifelong partner and you trust him like family, maybe you don’t need this. We trust family too. And the registration is still in the company’s name.
That’s why some foreign companies sell in Mexico without depending on anyone.
Write to usP.S.: If you already have registrations in a third party’s name and want to know how to bring them back, write to us with that in the subject line. It can be done, and we know the way.
